About This Curb Painting Project

This weekend Empire Parking Lot Services was asked to perform a curb painting & fire lane painting project in Irvine California.  Irvine is located in Orange County between the cities of Costa Mesa & Lake Forrest to the east and west as well as the cities of Tustin & Laguna Niguel to the north and south.  Our customer called us to get their curbs & fire hydrants re-painted and freshened up through out their business park. There was approximately 500 linear feet of red curb and another 50 feet of white curb.  Our customer also wanted to get their fire hydrants and fire mains repainted as well. On the fire mains we went with an oil base paint because it is stronger and looks better over time.  This job was a small one but we appreciate them just as much as the big ones. How Our Curb Painting Job Went

Our crew arrived at 7 am sharp and started off by scraping, sweeping, and prepping all of the curb painting work that was going to be done today.  Empire PLS put a lot of emphasis on prepping before painting because the prep work makes all the difference on how the final job looks and how long it last.  Once the prep work was completed we taped off the curbs and moved on to the curb painting.  Empire PLS likes to spray curbs when curb painting versus rolling curbs because the finish looks better and the paint coat goes on more evenly.  Once we finished the curb striping we painted all the hydrants and mains.  The curb painting project was finished in 2 hours and the tape and mess was cleaned up.  It came out looking great and the customer was very pleased.
