Our skilled asphalt paving division serviced California State University, Fullerton. This project held great value to Scott Flores, the owner of Empire Parking Lot Services, as he is a CSUF alumni. This project involved demolishing and replacing 21,000 square feet, totaling 630 tons of asphalt installation. We also had to demolish 1,800 linear feet of concrete curbing. The area being serviced was an asphalt walkway that went from the athletic fields to the Athletics Department office. Our crew removed 5" of existing asphalt. We later scarified the subgrade material to a depth of 8" and re-compacted as directed by the soils engineer. The new asphalt was poured and compacted to match the 5” thickness of the materials that were removed. The project had to be completed in 4 phases in order to work along-side other construction projects being done on the property.

The equipment used for this project were, a skid steer, grinder, tracker, roller, rakes, brooms, shovels, dump trucks,  and compactor. All these tools were expertly handled by our experienced asphalt division in a safe and clean work environment to provide the highest quality of service.

The work was done correctly, safely, looked great, and all areas were cleaned up and ready for use the following day. The specifics will always depend on the size and assessment of your current situation, but knowing that you will get an honest, upfront estimate from a professional and reputable company equals peace of mind, which is priceless.
